The magic that we witness is, in fact, fruit of studies and procedures that belongs to ancient traditions, inherited from one generation to another and shielded as the most precious family jewels: one of the most important aspect for us, amongst many, is surely the attention to the materials used, essential to craft a high quality product.
Our handmade sandals are a fusion of artisanal skills and meticulously selected materials in order to craft sandals which are guaranteed and known for their quality and performance. Thanks to these elements, we are able to reach a high level of customization, both regarding the sandals fit (which is custom sized according to the feet measurements) and their aesthetic through a combination of variant of colours, details and accessories applied in our collections.

The particular attention that our artisans reserve to each step of the creation, will guarantee durability and comfort during years. Getting into specifics of our Capri sandals, there are many important components to testify and ensure the handcrafted nature of our sandals:

The brass nail, in full compliance with the original tradition, is used to attach the upper sole and strings to the sole to give the sandals a better seal.

Visible stitching, a trademark of our sandals, for which we use twisted twine to hand-stitch together overlapped layers of leather to build the sole.

The sole is made of genuine Italian leather which we source from Tuscan tanneries; this area in Italy is particularly famous for high-quality materials and leathers and our soles are labelled with the distinctive sign of real Italian leather. This precious material keeps its natural characteristics thanks to the procedures and techniques in which we work on stretching the leather to highlight its softness so that it can stretch and reform and it will shape to your feet.

some Imperfections are identifiable in the colour tones of the leather (commonly made from cowhide, goatskin or calfskin); one of the most beautiful characteristics of leathers is its natural flaw, which shows that the sandals are made of a natural organic piece, not man-made, and not uniformly smooth so each handmade sandal is unique in its own way

The heel is often flat, however particular attention is paid to this part of the sandals to guarantee comfort and fit; in fact, it is made of wood with a heart of steel and upholstered by leather; The heel has also a non-slip Italian rubber island to guarantee stability while wearing the sandals.

The decorations are the real masterpieces of each pair of sandals; crafted and created by our artisans, particular consideration is given to their realization, as per the case of our Jewels sandals, both while choosing the stones to be used and also while handcrafting them: all the jewels components are stitched on a layer of soft leather, so the feet are always in contact with natural materials.
